About The Role

As a LabVIEW Architect, you are going to maintain and enhance our extensive LabVIEW, Teststand, and Python collaborative test environment. Grab the chance to play a pivotal role in engineering high-speed automated qualification systems and managing researcher requests for lab software enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend LabVIEW, TestStand, and Python test environments.
• Design and implement FPGA-based high-speed data systems for nanopore research.
• Develop GPU-based algorithms for detection and data processing.
• Implement automated qualification systems to meet high-speed performance standards.
• Manage and respond to researcher requests for lab software development and support.
• Integrate and interface with Python for advanced data post-processing capabilities

What we're looking for

• Background in System Engineering.
• Proven expertise in LabVIEW.
• Experience in high-speed application environments.
• Initial experience with Python.
• Strong skills in software-hardware integration.
• Nice to have: experience with nanopore technology.
